Chelsea reach another transfer agreement as Moises Caicedo dream future move made clear

Chelsea seem set for their busiest week of the summer transfer window yet if Monday is anything to go by.

football.london understands Everton agreed a £28million deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hours after opening talks with the west London club. Armando Broja is also poised to join Burnley - permanently - while Marc Guiu is off to Sunderland on loan.

Talks with Borussia Dortmund are also back on over a permanent return for Carney Chukwuemeka. Outgoings are prioritised at this stage, although negotiations remain ongoing with RB Leipzig to sign Xavi Simons.

Ugochukwu agreement made

Chelsea are said to have permitted Lesley Ugochukwu to travel for medical tests with Burnley after reaching an agreement with the newly-promoted Premier League club. The Athletic claims it will be a permanent move, with Ugochukwu to sign a five-year contract.

football.london says: Ugochukwu is close to an exit now and he's due to be one of the two players Burnley sign permanently from the Blues, with a five-year contract also waiting for Broja. Chelsea have been looking to recoup some money for the midfielder this summer, after actively looking for solutions since Ugochukwu returned from a positive loan spell at Southampton.

Caicedo's dream future transfer

Moises Caicedo has acknowledged wanting to play for Liga de Quito should an opportunity arise at some stage during his career. During an interview with Radio Ritmo 98.5 , the player said, as relayed by the Ecuadorian newspaper, El Universo: "If the opportunity arises in the future, I'll be in Liga... I've always liked it since I was a kid."

football.london says: Caicedo made his debut for Independiente del Valle against their rivals Liga in 2019, one of barely 30 appearances before signing for Brighton & Hove Albion. As such, wanting to return home one day is understandable, as Thiago Silva did 12 months ago, but at 23 and being under contract until 2031, that day is a long way from now.
