Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has shared a glimpse into his injury comeback as his teammates returned to training at London Colney.
The Brazilian suffered a devastating ACL tear back in January during the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. Upon diagnosis of the injury, it was clear that Jesus would miss the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Some may have hoped that Jesus could be back for the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season. However, this seems like being a too optimistic timeline for the forward.

As his first-team teammates returned to training, Jesus has been awarded a longer summer break as he continues to focus on his recovery. Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old shared a clip of himself working hard on an exercise bike in a luxurious home gym.
The clip was accompanied with three emojis which gave the impression that he was feeling stronger in himself. While he is highly unlikely to play, Jesus could join his teammates for the pre-season tour of Asia which begins later this month.

Arsenal will face AC Milan, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur on the tour before returning to London to face Villarreal at the Emirates Stadium. During his recovery, Jesus has provided a couple of statements on his progress.
In April, Jesus wrote: "The first seven weeks of recovery are done. Working hard and improving every day, thanks to God.
"Step by step!" While the Brazilian has been out of action, the Gunners have been heavily linked with a new striker addition.
Viktor Gyokeres remains on the club's wishlist while Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike have also been tipped with a move to the Emirates Stadium to differing extents.
