A mum claims she has come up with a 'genius' hack to the oven - with no scrubbing.
The delighted mother was thrilled as she says using her technique to burnt in stains will do away with something most people hate. TikTok user says the oven will be left after using her method which doesn't require any elbow grease usually associated with such arduous chores. She says: "This is how you can clean a burnt oven without scrubbing. you will never want to clean it any other way again. This clever trick works every time."
She proceeds to place a gel dishwasher tablet into an oven-proof dish and covers it with a litre of water before closing the oven and setting it to 100 degrees Celsius. user asks people to leave the dish in the oven for "about an hour" and says the steam from the tablet 'will settle on the oven walls'. "The heat of the oven will speed up the dissolving process, as a result you won't need to scrub them. After an hour open the door and wipe the walls with a wet sponge. The dirt will come immediately."
reported another cleaning tip where enthusiasts suggested a straightforward way to get your oven gleaming again - and it involves an item you already have in your kitchen cupboard. In a post on Reddit, one individual sought advice on cleaning their oven as they displayed the inside of the appliance's door smothered in thick grime. They explained they recently moved into a new property, and the previous occupants left the oven in a mess and asked how they could restore it to its former glory.
It didn't take long for cleaning fans to share their tips. Home cleaning enthusiasts have been raving about the transformative powers of a £1.50 cleaning saviour that apparently does the trick when teamed up with an everyday kitchen staple. The hot cleaning hack everyone's talking about? Combine Pink Stuff Paste with a scrunched-up ball of aluminium foil.
A user recommended: "Apply The Pink Stuff with a piece of aluminium foil balled up. I just did this and was shocked at how easy it was. I balled up some foil, dipped it into the small container of The Pink Stuff and then scrubbed the oven, and it immediately came off. Then I did a quick wipe down with a soapy sponge, and then a paper towel, and my oven has never looked this clean."
A second tipster backed up the first, adding: "The BEST thing for this is the pink stuff and use a ball of aluminium foil to apply it! It works like a charm." The Pink Stuff, a miraculous cleaning paste, can be snapped up from without breaking the bank at approximately £1.50 per tub. Plus, you've probably got aluminium foil lying around in your kitchen somewhere already.
