Neymar has sent a message to future signing Estevao Willian after his own record in Brazil was broken. The Blues agreed to sign Estevao from Palmeiras earlier this year, with the forward officially moving to until the summer of 2025 after he turns 18 years old.

agreed a deal worth an initial £29million but add-ons could take the total fee to £55million for the talented 17-year-old.

Estevao was in action for Palmeiras over the weekend as he helped the Brazilian club claim a 5-3 victory over Juventude with a goal and an assist.

The game saw for the season up to 18 in all competitions, with 10 goals and eight assists.

In the process, Estevao broke a record previously held by Neymar during his final season at Santos in 2009. The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-German star had held the record for the most goal involvements for a 17-year-old player in Brazil's Serie A.

After breaking the record, Estevao was sent a message by Neymar himself on social media. The 32-year-old praised the future Chelsea signing and sent his well wishes for the future.

"Congratulations, [Estevao Willian] for the broken record," wrote Neymar on his Instagram story.

"May you continue to shine and enchant everyone with your football. Fly"

Estevao does not turn 18 until April next year, which is when the next season of the Brazilian top flight is scheduled to get underway.

The teenager will not be the only star from Brazil to make the switch to Stamford Bridge in 2025, with his compatriot Kendry Paez also signing for Chelsea when he turns 18 next year.
