Daisy Campbell has been tipped to leave Emmerdale and viewers have since speculated she may meet a tragic end.

The Amelia Spencer actress during an interview with The as she announced her time on the soap was drawing to a close after she first joined the line-up at the age of 8. confirmed her final scenes would air just before .

In scenes aired this Thursday, the star reappeared on screens while her boyfriend Tom King () battled to prove his innocence. As viewers know, however, the sinister vet has been tormenting his estranged wife Belle Dingle () for months on end - and many fans believe Amelia may suffer a similar fate.

When confirming her "dauting" exit from the Yorkshire-based drama, Daisy said: "It wasn’t my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first. Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting."

She then explained bosses had run out of storylines for her, particularly after the departure of her father Dan from the eponymous village. "Once they explained, I totally got it", she continued, "Amelia isn’t part of the Dingles, her dad has left, Samson has gone now and she doesn’t have any family. There is nowhere to take Amelia and I understand that. I feel incredibly lucky to have been in the soap for 13 years and to have been handed so many opportunities at such a young age."

Amelia, who is also a mother to , has been oblivious to Belle's suffering as she refuses to believe Tom is capable of abuse but a telling comment made by Daisy Campbell has highlighted the possibility her exit may involve a huge twist as .

Daisy shared said: "I am pleased the door is being left open. But I can’t say too much about how she leaves", igniting theories she may go on the run with Tom King, who will potentially refuse to face comeuppance for his actions, like many other criminals before him. While twists and turns have been teased, fans are convinced Amelia's exit will have a connection to Tom King.

"I think she will finally realise Tom is evil like belle has said and can’t stay in the village as no one will want to speak to her for what he’s done OR Tom kills her…. They are my top guesses at the moment", one of them wrote. Another fan added: "Her exit could involve the Tom King abuse control storyline." But how will it really play out?
