According to the notification, the apprenticeships at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Carva, and Naval Aircraft Yard, Goa will be for one year and two years, respectively. The apprenticeship at Naval Aircraft Yard, Goa, will be for one year.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 8th and 10th grades, as well as an ITI degree, depending on the position. The eligibility criteria vary.
Age Limit
The age limit for this apprenticeship is 14 to 18 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for this recruitment after a written exam, an interview, and document verification.
Stipend
During the apprenticeship at the Naval Shipyard, the stipend will be ₹3,400–₹9,600 per month, depending on the position.
Exam Pattern
The Apprenticeship Recruitment Exam will be OMR-based, with questions carrying 100 marks. There will be no negative marking.
