Honda Rebel 500 : All you need to know
In terms of design, the Rebel 500 brings with it a distinct retro-cruiser character that is hard to miss. It features a circular headlamp, low-slung seat, wide handlebars, and high-mounted fuel tank. The Rebel 500 sits low to the ground, making it more approachable for a wider range of riders. Overall, the design isn’t very busy but rather straightforward and the blacked-out elements go well with it. The motorcycle carries a blacked-out look and is being offered in just one colour namely Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.
At the heart of the Rebel 500 is a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that puts out 46 hp and 43.3 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of cycle parts, the bike rides on a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a 296 mm disc up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS.
