Bolt, the 10-minute food delivery vertical by Swiggy is now available in more than 500 cities across India, less than six months after its launch in October last year, the food aggregator told exchanges on Friday.
Backed by a network of over 45,000 restaurant partners, the service has seen strong traction across metros as well as Tier II and Tier III cities, Swiggy said in the filing.
“Bolt fits into the way people live today. You’re hungry, you want something now, and you don’t want to compromise. We built Bolt for that moment. Seeing it scale to 500 plus cities in just a few months has been incredible. And this is just the beginning,” said Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Swiggy Food Marketplace.
