Elon Musk's daughter Vivian Wilson breaks silence on money struggles: 'I can afford food'

Being the daughter of the world’s richest man might sound like a ticket to yachts, mansions, and endless designer bags—but Vivian Wilson is here to smash that illusion. Elon Musk’s 21-year-old estranged daughter says she’s not living off her dad’s Rs 42,778 crore empire. Instead, she’s hustling like any other young adult in Los Angeles, even sharing a place with three roommates because "it’s cheaper," as quoted by the New York Post.

It further reported that Vivian opened up about how people constantly assume that she has a bank balance to match her last name, but the reality is very different. She admitted she doesn’t have “hundreds of thousands of dollars” lying around and is just figuring life out on her own terms. What she can afford, she said, is the basics—food, rent, a roof over her head, and the occasional splurge.

Vivian also pointed out the obvious contrast between her two parents’ financial worlds. Her mom, Justine Wilson, has a wealth of her own, while her dad, Elon Musk, sits on unimaginable levels of fortune. But she’s made it clear that she doesn’t tap into any of that.

Who is Vivian Wilson?
For those unfamiliar, Vivian Jenna Wilson is the eldest daughter of Elon Musk and his first wife, Justine Wilson. Born in 2004, she is the oldest of Musk’s 14 children from different relationships. Rather than leaning on her famous surname, she’s trying to carve her own identity as a social media personality and aspiring model, all while rejecting the fame and wealth of her billionaire father.
