That time of the year is here!
As summer and the end of the school year approach, it's time to give it up for our teachers! The National Teacher Appreciation Week is already here, which runs from Monday, May 5, to Friday, May 9. The National Teacher Appreciation Week also includes National Teachers Day on May 6.
What is National Teacher Appreciation Week?
Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping children’s lives: the future leaders of countries all over the world.
While the saying "there is no bad student, only bad teachers" emphasizes the importance of teacher quality in student success, it is important to note that teachers are one of the hardest-working, patient, kind, dedicated, and sometimes underpaid groups in our society. Teachers aim to mold children’s lives in a positive direction, and people entrust their children to the teachers on a daily basis.
Therefore, it is extremely important to show appreciation to those who are tirelessly working to shape the future of our society.
That’s why there’s a day called National Teacher Day.
