Why is Nandimukh Shraddha performed?

1. Therefore, there is a law to perform Nandimukh Shraddha before the auspicious work. This shraddha can be performed on any Amavasya or auspicious occasion. Currently, the gods have gone to sleep, so auspicious works are stopped. This shraddha is performed before that. Nandi means happiness or joy, and Mukha means face or beginning. That is, remembering the ancestors and offering tarpan before the beginning of pleasant or auspicious works. Nandimukh shraddha is not a 'ghost shraddha'; rather, it is a shraddha performed for auspiciousness.

2. Second reason: If any relative in anyone's family has died and his shraddha has not been performed yet. That is, if shraddha is being performed for the first time, then Nandimukh shraddha is performed properly. That is, if the shraddha of any ancestor is being performed for the first time, then Nandi shraddha is performed. This liberates the ancestors, and they give their children full blessings for this work. Hariyali Amavasya is considered a very auspicious and powerful day to liberate ancestors.
