Central Railway To Operate Special Traffic & Power Block On Night Of August 9-10; Check Details Inside

Central Railway’s Special Traffic and Power Block on 09/10.08.2025 (Saturday / Sunday night) for-

Launching of steel girders for Lokgram FOB at Kalyan

De-launching of girders of proposed ROB between Ambarnath & Badlapur

No Mega Block on Sunday-10th August 2025 on Main & Harbour lines during the Day

Central Railway, Mumbai Division will operate Special Traffic and Power Block on

UP & Down slow lines and on Down fast lines for launching of 4 steel girders(Span 4) for Lokgram FOB between Platform no 3 & 4 at Kalyan using 140T Railway Crane and

Shadow Block Up & Down South-East lines, for de-launching of girders of proposed ROB in lieu of old MIDC Pipeline Bridge between Ambarnath & Badlapur at Kms 62/880 using 650T Road Crane from 00.10 am (mid-night) of 09/ 10 August 2025(Saturday/Sunday) to 06.55 am (early morning)of 10th August 2025(Sunday).

The Special Traffic block will be operated from 00.10 am to 06.55 hrs am follows:

On Up & Down slow line-between Thakurli (excluding all crossovers) & Kalyan(including Platform1, 1A, 2 and 3),

On Down fast line-between Dombivli (excluding all crossovers) & Kalyan(including Platform 4 & Bypass line),

The Shadow block will be operated from 01.15 am to 04.15 am as follows:

On Up & Down South-East lines between Ambarnath & Badlapur(including both stations)

Repercussions due to the Block will be as follows:

Diversion of Down Mail/Express Trains

Following trains will be diverted on 5th line between Diva & Kalyan stations:

Diversion of UP Mail/Express Trains

Following trains will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel-Diva stations and halt will be provided at Panvel and Thane for Kalyan detraining passengers.

Train no 18519 Vishakhapatnam – LTT Express,

Train no 12702 Hyderabad – CSMT Hussainsagar Express,

Train no 11140 Hosapete – CSMT Express and

Train no 22158 Chennai Egmore-CSMT Express.

Trains having scheduled halt at Kalyan will be provided halt at Panvel & Thane for the benefit of passengers wanting to entrain / detrain at Kalyan.

Regulation of UP Mail/Express Trains

Train no 22178 Secunderabad-Rajkot Express will be regulated at Vangani station from 04.10 am to 04.20 am

Train no 11022 Tirunelveli-Dadar Express will be regulated at Neral station from 04.17 am to 04.27 am

Mail / Express trains / Holiday Specials running late / rescheduled will be diverted as per operational requirement.

Suburban services will not be available between Ambarnath and Karjat stations during the block period.

21 services will be cancelled on Saturday 09 th August 2025 late night and

27 services will be cancelled on Sunday 10 th August 2025 early morning

During the block period Special services will be run between CSMT-Dombivli, Ambarnath-Karjat & Titwala-Asangaon stations during the block.. On Main line Mega block will be operated during night hrs on Up & Down local slow lines between Thane & Kalyan stations from 00.25 am to 05.25 am.
