Team India speedster Jasprit Bumrah and opener KL Rahul made contributions towards the Lord's meusem in the ongoing India vs England 3rd Test. Bumrah donated the shoes that he wore while picking up the historic five-wicket haul on Day 2. The pair of shoes are now on display at the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Museum in London, along with other priceless cricket memorabilia.

The century by the opener made him 2nd Indian batter with multiple Test hundreds at Lord's. Post lunch, the star batter reached the three-figure mark with a quick single against Jofra Archer. He became just the fourth visiting opener to have multiple centuries at Lord’s. However, Rahul failed to convert his century in a big knock, getting dismissed at 100 by Shoaib Bashir as he edged him to Harry Brook at first slip.

Earlier Ahead of the second Test, legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's portrait was also unveiled at the museum. The iconic cricketing heritage site also boasts other iconic possessions closely connected to Indian cricket, including the jersey that Kapil Dev wore during the 1983 ODI World Cup.

Tempers flared on the final over of India vs England 3rd Test involving Shubman Gill and Zak Crawley. The flashpoint came when Crawley, facing Bumrah, suddenly pulled out of his stance just as the pacer was about to deliver the ball. It appeared to be a tactic to unsettle Bumrah and perhaps disrupt his rhythm, but it had the opposite effect. Shubman Gill, standing close at slip, walked up aggressively and gave Crawley an earful. Caught on the stump mic, Gill reportedly told Crawley, “Grow some f***ing balls,” clearly fed up with what the Indians perceived as deliberate time-wasting.

Earlier India were bundled out for 387 in their first innings, the same score that England were skittled out for as there was nothing to separate the two sides on Day 3 at Lord’s on Saturday. KL Rahul scored a century while Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with fine fifties. England then came out to bat for 1 over and Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett survived the day as they go into Day 4 with 2 runs in the lead.
