Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said Rewa will always be ahead of other districts in the state in terms of development.
Shukla said the government is doing development works very fast in the district. The government has improved power and water supply and widened roads on priority, Shukla said.
Shukla made the above statements during the inauguration of a new sub-power station in Rewa. Chief engineer of DISCOM, IK Tripathi, said the work related to power supply was completed.
Shulka also planted saplings on the occasion.
Officials asked to finish Jal Jeevan Mission work as priority
Joint secretary of the government of India, Farida M Nayak, inspected the progress of work under the Jal Jeevan Mission project in Mauganj and Satna. Nayak directed the officials to complete the work under Jal Jeevan Mission. At the meeting, Nayak was informed that 64% of the work of the Bansagar project in Satna was completed.
The project will be ready by next year. Nayak appealed to the officials to ensure that the school, village panchayats and health centres should get water supply, he said.
