A new ensemble comedy that delves into the chaotic reality of young adulthood is coming to our screens, and fans are already comparing it to a legendary sitcom.
Adults will debut on FX in the USA next week and will be available for UK viewers on Disney+. The show is the brainchild of screenwriting pair Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, who made waves as the youngest writers on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon back in 2019.
The series draws loosely from their real-life mates and acquaintances, but encapsulates the universal journey of growing up. As Shaw puts it, we encounter these characters at a point in their lives when their deepest relationships aren't romantic, but platonic.
