The Hack viewers appear to be less than impressed as theyissued the same complaintjust minutes into the second episode.
The seven-part series, which stars David Tennant, Robert Carlyle and Toby Jones, follows the phone-hacking scandal that brought down media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News of the World.
The story is set between 2002 and 2012 and interweaves two real-life stories, one of which is about Nick Davies, who uncovered evidence of phone hacking.

The story follows the investigation into the unsolved murder ofprivate investigator Daniel Morgan, led by former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook.
The first episode follows the life of investigative journalist Nick, who is famous for breaking the story on the phone hacking scandal at the News of the World.

During tonight’s (October 1) episode of the ITV show, viewers met DCS Dave Cook, who is assigned to investigate the unsolved murder of private detective Daniel Morgan, the most investigated homicide in the history of the Metropolitan Police.
As he is drawn deeper into the case, Dave finds himself under surveillance by the News of the World.
When his private and work lives are put under pressure, Dave begins to pursue the case ruthlessly and takes up matters with Rebekah Wade, the News of the World's powerful editor.
Despite the dramatic storyline, viewers watching at home have admitted that they are “struggling” with the drama and wasted no time sharing their reactions on social media.

One viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “#thehack very dry series. Jumps around and who are the people they are talking about all the time. Dull.”
Another said: “Is anyone else really struggling with this drama #TheHack.”
A third said: “#thehack very difficult to understand what is going on unless you were there at the time and know the history.”
Meanwhile some fans seem to be enjoying the drama, as one said: “Half way through the first ep of #TheHack and what a cast!! Every new scene and up pops yet another quality recognisable actor.”
Another wrote: "Watched Episode 2 of #TheHack and another great episode. I didn't know how linked the murder of Daniel Morgan and NOTW was, but more linked than I knew."
