Tulsi Kadha: Tulsi decoction proves to be very beneficial in curing problems like colds, flu and cough. Know here how this decoction can be made and consumed. 

Kadha Recipe: When the weather starts getting cold, initially a person starts showing negligence in wearing warm clothes. In such a situation, it does not take long to catch a cold, cough, or flu. Apart from this, after Diwali, the air of Delhi has become so polluted that respiratory problems have started increasing. Due to this, the immunity of the body also starts weakening. To avoid cold, cough, and infection, Tulsi Kadha can be made and drunk at home. Tulsi Kadha not only keeps these seasonal problems away but also strengthens immunity. Know here the easy way to prepare this Kadha. 

Tulsi Kadha For Cough And Cold 

To make basil decoction, you will need 10 to 15 basil leaves, a one-inch piece of ginger, 4 to 5 black peppers, 3 cloves, a small piece of cinnamon, 2 to 3 cups of water, and honey as per taste. 

Put the pan on the flame and let the water boil in it. Now add Tulsi leaves in this pan and start adding the rest of the ingredients one by one apart from the honey. After cooking on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes, cover the pan reduce the flame, and cook the decoction for 10 to 15 minutes. This will reduce the water to half. Your Tulsi decoction is ready. Filter it in a cup and drink it hot after adding some honey. 

If you want, you can add a little turmeric to this decoction. Instead of adding turmeric masala, adding a piece of raw turmeric is more beneficial. If someone is allergic to Tulsi or any of the ingredients of the decoction, then avoid giving this decoction to him. Keep in mind that you should not drink this decoction more than necessary. Consume it in limited quantity only 1 to 2 times a day.
