The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is back for its 11th season, set to begin at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Hyderabad today, October 18. The opening match features the home team, Telugu Titans, facing off against former champions Bengaluru Bulls. This will be followed by a match between Dabang Delhi K.C. and U Mumba on the same day.

This season, the PKL returns to its traditional three-city format. The first leg will be held in Hyderabad from October 18 to November 9, followed by matches at the Noida Indoor Stadium starting on November 10. The final leg will take place at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from December 3 to December 24. The schedule for the playoffs will be announced later.

Each matchday will feature two games, with the first match starting at 8:00 PM IST and the second at 9:00 PM IST. A total of 137 matches, including playoffs, will be played over the course of nearly three months.

All 12 teams have strengthened their squads through strategic player retentions and acquisitions during the mid-August Season 11 Player Auction.

The opening day promises exciting competition, showcasing three former champions. The revamped Telugu Titans will take on a strong Bengaluru Bulls side, while a defensively focused U Mumba will challenge the high-scoring raiders of Dabang Delhi K.C.

Day 2 will continue the action with a southern derby between the Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas, who have retained many of their core players. The second match of the day will be a rematch of last season’s final, featuring Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers. Puneri Paltan aims to become only the second team in PKL history to defend their championship, while the Haryana Steelers seek their first title after falling short last season.
