Central Railways Introduces 24 Special Trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja 2024: To accommodate the increased demand during Diwali and Chhath Puja, Central Railways has announced 24 special trains to ensure smoother travel. These trains will run between Panvel and Nanded, along with additional services to Samastipur, Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj.
Special Train Details:
Train 07626: Departs from Panvel every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 pm (October 22 - November 28). It arrives at Hazur Sahib Nanded at 4:30 am the next day. Train 07625: Departs from Hazur Sahib Nanded every Monday and Wednesday at 11 pm (October 21 - November 27). It arrives at Panvel at 1:25 pm the following day. Both trains will make stops at key stations including Parbhani, Nashik Road, Purna, Lasur, Manwat, Igatpuri, Jalna, Kalyan, and others.
In addition, other special trains connecting Mumbai to Prayagraj, Samastipur, and Gorakhpur have been scheduled to ease the holiday rush.
How to Book Tickets:
Tickets for train No. 07626 can be booked through the official IRCTC website or the IRCTC app. Bookings opened on October 14, and passengers are encouraged to book early due to limited availability during the festive season.
Diwali, starting with Dhanteras, will be celebrated on November 1, 2024, while Chhath Puja, honoring the Sun God, will begin on November 5, 2024.
