Located in the scenic village of Nyukmadung, along the route to Tawang, the museum is set to play a key role in preserving cultural heritage and supporting the region's socio-economic growth.

Union Minister Kamlesh Paswan highlighted the importance of civil-military collaboration in the museum's development and its role in preserving the cultural identity of Arunachal Pradesh. The museum houses 343 traditional heirlooms, some dating back to the Neolithic period. It also features modern amenities such as a movie hall, souvenir shop, cafeteria, children's park, and a tourist facilitation center. This community-driven initiative is expected to draw visitors and serve as an educational hub for the region. The inauguration was attended by local school children and other dignitaries.
