Mumbai: Ahead of Halloween Day, India’s biggest theatre chain PVR Inox Limited is treating cinema lovers with a string of spine-chilling, spooky movies.
During the ‘Halloween Film Festival’, PVR Inox will be screening Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree’, Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bhediya’ and Abhay Verma-Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Munjya’.
Other chilling classics and modern favourites being screened include ‘The Conjuring’, ‘The Conjuring 2’, ‘The Conjuring 3’, ‘IT Chapter One’, ‘IT Chapter Two’, ‘Bhoot’, ‘Don’t Breathe’.
The Halloween movie marathon will be held from October 23 to 31.

PVR Cinemas announced the schedule of the films to be screened in Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Pune, Bengaluru, Noida, Chennai and Hyderabad.
“Halloween is a time when we can let our imaginations run wild, and this is what we are trying to reflect in the festival. Watching horror films in theatres is an unmatched experience, and we want to bring an electrifying atmosphere to life,” said Gautam Dutta, PVR Inox Limited CEO to Bollywood Hungama.
It is believed that on Halloween day, which is observed in several countries, the souls of the dead return to their homes. To ward off the spirits, people dress in spooky costumes and light bonfires.
