When it comes to stylish yet affordable homeware, Dusk is a brand that rarely disappoints - and its latest launch is no exception. The retailer's new Margo Accent Chair has seriously impressed us, thanks to its elegant retro design and budget-friendly £139 price tag.
Part of Dusk's new Retro Replay collection, the chair is available in a rich green hueand features subtle diamond-tufted detailing and sloped arms, creating a timeless, mid-century feel. It's available in cream, making it a versatile piece for a variety of interiors.
What really sets it apart, though, is the price. Similar styles on the market come with far steeper price tags - the Perch & Parrow version costs £578, whileJohn Lewis offers a comparable option for £529. All three share the same soothing green tone and retro-inspired aesthetic, but Dusk's Margo chair delivers the look for a fraction of the cost.
Ideal for creating a cosy reading nook or adding a pop of colour to a room, the Margo chair is a statement piece without the designer price. To style it, try layering with a textured throw, pairing with a floor lamp for an inviting corner, or setting it next to a side table stacked with some books.
Of course, Dusk isn't the only homeware brand with purse-friendly prices. Dunelm is another great option, offering a range of high-quality pieces, including its Eliza Occasional Armchair (£149) in a vibrant yellow hue.
Besides Dunelm, La Redoute also offers a wealth of chic options. This Mid Century Curved Bouclé Armchair (£152.99) has all the signs of a classic, with its low sloping profile and soft teddy bouclé feel.
Returning to Dusk's Margo Accent Chair, it has had some great reviews from shoppers. One person said: "Another fabulous purchase from Dusk, colour and quality are fantastic, exactly what I was looking for."
Meanwhile, a second chimed in: "Lovely chair, good value for the money. Looks great in my bedroom." And a third said: "Good quality, fits nicely in the space we had planned for it. Just as expected."
To date, the Margo hasn't had any bad reviews, however, one four star review did note: "A really lovely chair for our bedroom. Had issue with marks on the legs when it arrived but Dusk have sorted this out really quickly and have arranged replacements to be sent."
On a more positive note, this Margo Accent Chairfan said: "This is a lovely chair, I am very happy with it, easy to put together, and it looks lovely, very comfortable too."
