Patsy Palmer was reduced to tears in the Celebrity Big Brother house following remarks from fellow contestant Mickey Rourke about her culinary skills.
The EastEnders actress sought solace in the diary room after Mickey criticised her cooking, telling Big Brother: "I always want my kids to always stand up for themselves."
During tonight's (April 11) show, Mickey poked fun at Patsy's kitchen efforts, questioning the quality of her meals.
Although Patsy initially laughed off his comments, hoping they were in jest, she later retreated to the diary room to vent her frustration and disappointment.
"Sorry," Patsy said, breaking down in tears. "I tried to talk that one out but it didn't really work. I feel like I let myself down there and I don't want my reactions to be like that."
"I always want my kids to always stand up for themselves. Maybe it was just a joke - maybe I need to look at it like that. I need to try to rise above it. It doesn't mean I have to like him."
Oblivious to the impact of his words on Patsy, Mickey continued to discuss the matter with Big Brother, suggesting an upgrade to the house's culinary arrangements.
"I think in future, you guys should hire really good chefs to feed the people," he remarked, reports .

Mickey has found himself at the centre of several scandals during his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
He first drew Ofcom complaints for his conduct towards host AJ Odudu upon his entrance into the house on Monday (April 7).
The Hollywood actor subsequently received a formal warning from Big Brother for making homophobic remarks aimed at JoJo Siwa.
The controversy didn't end there, as Mickey also faced backlash from viewers for "fat-shaming" his fellow contestant Donna Preston.
He told her, "You'd probably be better off running round the block for ten minutes," and followed up with, "It's like they say, you are what you eat."
