nanny has a "no nonsense" approach with the royal children, according to an expert.
Maria Borrallo was hired by the Prince and in 2014 when was just eight months old.
After training at the prestigious Norlan College, Ms Borrallo travels with the family and lives in Kensington Palace but is believed to have a strict approach to their upbringing.
Norland expert Louis Heren said Ms Borrallo will have "no messing" when it comes to Charlotte, nine and her brothers, George, 11, and Louis, six.
Speaking to the she said: "That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums."
Rules include a strict 7pm bedtime and new flavours and foods being introduced every few days to discourage fussy eating.
No matter the weather the children must also play outside.
Ms Heren added: "There will be lots and lots of outdoor play, that's the one thing you could say Norland are old-fashioned about. Loads of fresh air.
"Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening. Norland are very into teaching children through play."
The children's screen time is also limited, with it ultimately being up to their parents as to how long they can play on any devices.
Ms Borrallo will instead teach the children through play including games and jigsaws.
Ahead of official royal engagements Ms Borrallo will ready the children and explain to them what is expected of them.
Ms Heren said: "She'll say: 'This is your opportunity to show Mummy and Daddy just how wonderful you are, and you are to smile and be really good for them and then we can go inside and play.'"
In recent years the Wales children have been seen more frequently with their parents as they are getting older.
Earlier this all three attended the King's Coronation before taking part in the Big Help Out with their parents on their first official royal engagement as a family of five.
Norland College in Bath, is famous for training over 10,000 high-profile nannies for over 125 years.
Graduates are recognised by a traditional brown uniform and taken care of several royal babies, including Princess Anne's children.
Speaking on the 'Norland Nanny' approach, ms Heren said it "doesn't have to be strict".
"Just because Norland Nannies wear the brown uniform, they look quite old-fashioned, that doesn't mean their message is old-fashioned. It's no nonsense," she added.
It can cost from £26,000 to hire a Norland Nanny for your family, rising to £79,000 for overseas care.
Spanish-born Ms Borralle, speaks a total of six languages and made her first public appearance with Kate and Will during their tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2014.
