Eager viewers of the BBC favourite are buzzing with predictions and hopes for the upcoming series, with a certain I'm a Celeb personality hinting at a past invitation to join the dance extravaganza.
Although the official roster of celebrities remains under wraps, with only the returning professional dancers confirmed earlier in the year, the rumour mill is in full swing.
Amidst the mystery, one Silent Witness star has expressed a keen interest in donning sequins for the show.
Emilia Fox, renowned for her role as Dr Nikki Alexander on the BBC's forensic hit, is eyeing up the sparkle of the Strictly ballroom, reports Edinburgh Live.
In a candid chat, the 50-year-old confided to the Daily Mail's Richard Eden: "I really love watching reality TV.
"I'd love to do Strictly. I'd love the rehearsal process, but the thought of live shows is nerve-racking. I'm not sure I'd be very good at that, but I'd definitely consider it."
Emilia isn't a stranger to reality TV, having featured on Celebrity Gogglebox, Top Gear, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, and Blankety Blank, much to the delight of Silent Witness fans
Yet, whether Emilia will step into the Strictly spotlight remains to be seen. The whispered contenders currently include the likes of Stacey Solomon, Paul C Brunson, Dani Dyer, Ashley Cain and Angellica Bell.

The BBC has yet to unveil the star-studded line-up for this year's show, but they have confirmed the return of fan-favourite professional dancers.
Viewers will be thrilled to see Amy Dowden, Aljaz Skorjanec, Dianne Buswell, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Lauren Oakley and Carlos Gu back on the dance floor.
Also gracing the stage once more are Johannes Radebe, Jowita Przysta, Kai Widdrington, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Vito Coppola, Nancy Xu, Nadiya Bychkova, Michelle Tsiakkas and Luba Mushtuk.
Nadiya Bychkova couldn't contain her joy about returning, as she took to Instagram with a video exclaiming: "SO EXCITING!! Thankful to be back on the biggest show on TV. I can't wait for another spin around the Strictly sun."
