IPL 2025 suspended for a week amid India-Pakistan tensions

The 2025 season of the Indian Premier League was on Friday amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.

“While the BCCI [Board of Control for Cricket in India] reposes full faith in the strength and preparedness of our armed forces, the board in the collective interest of all stakeholders,” said the league’s governing body.
