Abhhimanyuu Kashinath's New Film 'Abhimanyu S/o Kashinath' Launched

Kannada film legend Kashinath’s son, Abhhimanyuu Kashinath, is all set for a busy season. As his movie Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari prepares for its theatrical release on October 25, Abhhimanyuu Kashinath is already working on his next project, Abhimanyu S/o Kashinath. The new film was recently launched, marking another chapter in his budding career.

Komal Kumar claps for the first timeComedian turned hero Komal Kumar graced the movie launch event, offering his support and clapping for the first shot of the new project.“It’s been 32 years since I entered the industry, and this is the first time I have clapped for a film. It’s important for the movie to succeed, regardless of who clapped,” said Komal Kumar Komal Kumar goes on to add that if Abhhimanyuu Kashinath’s father were here, he would have been supportive. “I reminded him (Abhhimanyuu Kashinath) that while people may come and go, God’s presence is constant. Never stop striving, keep trying, and you will succeed. Success does not come overnight; it requires perseverance.”

Essence of Kashinath, the legendAbhhimanyuu Kashinath shared, expressing his enthusiasm for the direction of the film. “Director Raj Murali has captured my father’s essence while adapting it for today’s generation. When my father was alive, he always dreamed of directing a film for me. Projects like Anantana Avantara Part 2 were discussed, but I never felt ready for those roles. Now, with this new project, Abhimanyu s/o Kashinath, I feel like I’m honouring my father’s legacy.” He also addressed the challenge of registering the title ‘Son of Kashinath,’ which was already taken, leading to the film's unique title. First Look of Abhimanyu s/o Kashinath UnveiledThe first look and title of Abhhimanyuu Kashinath’s latest film, Abhimanyu s/o Kashinath, was recently revealed. The poster is striking, featuring Abhhimanyuu Kashinath in a stylish suit, holding a book, with only half of his face visible. The tagline, 'It’s New Experience,' promises a fresh perspective in Kannada cinema.The film is directed by Raj Murali, who is stepping into the spotlight after working as a co-director in the movie 8MM and serving as an assistant and associate director in various projects. Produced by Marappa Shrinivas, the movie aims to deliver a blend of comedy and drama.Abhimanyu will be joined by actresses Spandana Somanna and Vijayashree Kalburgi as the film's heroines. The technical team includes Sandeep Valluri as the cinematographer, Abhinandan Kashyap handling the music, and Chandan P. managing editing. Shooting for Abhimanyu s/o Kashinath is set to commence in November, with key scenes planned in Chikmagalur, Mysuru, and Hyderabad.
