Anushka Sen, who is gearing up to make her international debut with South Korean movie Asia, is equally excited about playing an assassin on one side, and becoming a "bridge" between India and Korea on the other.While the 22-year-old is busy hopping between the two countries, Zoom got hold of her amidst the busy schedule to talk about her love for Korea and everything Hallyu. On the sidelines of discussing how Asia gave her an incredible amount of global exposure, Anushka also got candid about her personal favourite K-dramas and Korean stars.ALSO READ:

Anushka Sen's favourite Korean starShe left us guessing when she hinted that her first Korean show that got her hooked to K-content was a Lee Min-Ho title. She revealed it all started for her during the pandemic when she first got a brush with this side of storytelling with The Legend of the Blue Sea. "After that I only watch Lee Min-Ho shows," Anushka gushed. Calling the Korean star, her most favourite, she added, "To me he's the best because of the different characters that he has done, be it The King, The Heirs, it's fantastic. That's where my obsession began." Anushka wishes to do Lovely Runner Indian remakeWe've seen several K-dramas getting adapted for the Indian screens like Flower of Evil, Boys Over Flowers, and the recent Gyaarah Gyaarah. So, is there any that Anushka would like to be a part of?"I love Lovely Runner. The entire back-and-forth going into past and future, changing the past so that the future changes... It's a very complicated concept, but the way they have done it is very beautiful," she said.While she called Han River bridge special, she said she was still looking for her Sunjae-ya (Byeon Woo-Seok) and experiencing the first snow from the Namsan Tower with him. The actor however preferred to stick to working with Lee Min-Ho as her dream. "I'd love to do a remake of Legend of the Blue Sea," she asserted. ALSO READ:

Anushka's dance collab with Minhyuk from BtoBAnushka recently collaborated with K-pop idol Minhyuk from BtoB for a dance video on 90TAN's popular song Tang Tang Tang. She posted the performance on her Instagram taking her Indian and Korean fans by surprise. Recalling on the teamwork, she said, "We initially had plans to do one, but then we decided to two, a second one on this trend that's very popular in Korea."Calling it a great experience Anushka revealed that language was never a restriction for her. "He barely spoke English but we still managed to have a conversation. I had the best time collaborating with them. We connected over food and he asked when I was coming back to Korea and wanted to be a part of our film. My collabs have just started and I'm super happy," she concluded.
