15-yr-old student ends life

Kanpur: A 15-year-old student took his life in city on Friday. His mother discovered him after he remained in his room for two hours. His body was found after which his family informed the police.

A son of fruit vendor, the victim recently passed his 10th-grade examinations successfully and was studying in the 11th grade. He lived with his mother, while his elder brother works in Mumbai. On Friday, he returned from school and went to his room before moving upstairs to another room.

Getting concerned, his mother attempted to reach him. After receiving no response to her knocking, she accessed the roof and peeped through the skylight, where she discovered his body.

Following the recovery of his body, the police conducted their investigation and questioned the family. His father expressed uncertainty about what might have troubled his son.
