Kanpur: Body of an unidentified man was discovered beside the railway tracks in Dadanagar, under the Govindnagar police station on Saturday evening. Local residents alerted the police who subsequently arranged for a post-mortem examination. According to inspector Govindnagar police station Pradeep Kumar Singh, they received the information at 10 pm on Saturday about a railway accident near the Dadanagar crossing, involving around 32 years of age. Despite efforts to establish the identity of the deceased through consultation with nearby residents, the police were unable to determine who he was. He had distinctive features, including a fair complexion, a round facial structure, a black beard, and a circular tattoo on his left arm. He was wearing a light pink full-sleeved T-shirt and light blue jeans, along with an amulet secured by a black thread around his neck. The police have shifted the body to the Hallet Hospital's mortuary for identification purposes. TNN
