Kanpur: KGSC Club drubbed host HBTU by 15 runs in KDM junior division league match held here on Saturday. KGSC, batting first, posted a total of 145 runs in 29.2 overs. Thereafter, they successfully defended their small total, wrapping the innings of HBTU on 130 runs.

Cricketers banned – Kanpur Cricket Association slapped ban on its four registered players for playing in un affiliated cricket tournaments. According to Kaushal Kumar Singh, secretary KCA, the banned player would not participate in KDMA league and in any knock out tournament organised by the KCA or its affiliated unit. The banned players are – Priyanshu Rawat (Winners club), Sahil Maurya (National Youth), Sahil Salim (Riders) and Sumit Yadav (city club).
