The deceased was identified as Vijay Soren, a native of Naudih village under the Tundi police station in Dhanbad district. He was living at his Pupunki Jolhadih-based in-laws' house and working as a daily wager for the past year.
The officer in-charge of the Chas Mufassil police station, Prakash Mandal, said, "Initial indications suggest suicide, but the actual cause will be confirmed after investigation. The body was sent for post-mortem."
