The Delhi University School of Open Learning ( DU SOL ) has commenced the registration process for undergraduate (UG) courses for the academic year 2025-26. This initiative offers a flexible and accessible higher education pathway for students, particularly benefiting those who prefer distance learning or are unable to attend regular college due to various constraints.
To register for UG courses at DU SOL, candidates have to register first at the official website, sol.du.ac.in. Once registered, candidates will be able to access the online application form by logging in to the candidate portal.
DU SOL 2025 application instructionsBefore registering for DU SOL UG courses, candidates are advised to go through the following instructions:
Visit the official website, sol.du.ac.in.
Click on the registration link for UG admissions and create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number.
Fill in the application form by entering personal details, academic qualifications, and select the desired course.
Upload the following list of documents:
Pay the application fee of Rs. 250 for general category candidates and Rs. 100 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe category candidates.

- The name of the applicant, father's name, and date of birth must exactly match the details mentioned on the Aadhaar Card and the Class 10th and 12th mark sheets/certificates.
- Access to the admission portal will be granted only through the applicant’s registered email ID and mobile number.
- Applicants are advised to use their own personal and active email ID and mobile number during registration.
- The email ID and mobile number provided must remain active and accessible throughout the entire admission process, as all communication will be sent to these.
- Passport-size photograph
- Scanned signature
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognised board.
- Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is required for most UG courses.
