Digilocker WBCHSE result 2025: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the Class 12 (HS) result for 2025 on May 7, 2025, at 12:30 PM via a press conference. The result link was activated online from 2:00 PM on official websites such as wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in. A total of 4,73,919 students appeared for the exams out of 4,82,948 who enrolled, with an overall pass percentage of 90.79%, up from 90% last year.
Among male students, the pass percentage stood at 92.03%, while 88.12% of female candidates cleared the exams. East Midnapore topped the district-wise list with 95.74%, followed by North 24 Parganas at 93.53% and Kolkata at 93.43%. Science stream students performed the best with 99.46%, Commerce followed with 97.52%, and Arts recorded 90.7%. This year, 72 candidates made it to the top 10 merit list, with Rupayan Pal from Burdwan CMS High School topping the exam with 497 marks (99.4%). WBCHSE confirmed that this was the final exam under the annual system, with a semester format to be introduced from next year.

As part of its digital initiatives, WBCHSE has made Class 12 mark sheets available on Digilocker, the government’s secure document storage platform. This enables students to access and download their marksheets digitally, without visiting their schools immediately. Mark sheets this year come with added features like QR codes and percentile scores to enhance authenticity and clarity.
Steps to download WBCHSE HS 2025 marksheet from Digilocker
Step 1: Visit the official website – www.digilocker.gov.in or open the Digilocker app.
Step 2: Sign in using your mobile number registered with Aadhaar, or create an account if you are a new user.
Step 3: Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Education’ section.
Step 4: Select ‘West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education’ from the list of issuers.
Step 5: Choose ‘Class XII Marksheet 2025’, enter your roll number and other details, then download the digital marksheet.
