Karnataka NEET UG 2024 mop-up round allotment result withdrawn by KEA, revised result to be issued today: Check details here

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has withdrawn the Karnataka National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) mop-up round provisional allotment result as published on October 16, 2024, on the official website. The counselling authority will release the revised Karnataka NEET UG 2024 mop-up round result today, October 18, 2024, after 1 PM as stated in the official notification. Candidates who took part in the Karnataka NEET UG 2024 mop-up round will be able to check the results after it is published on the official website. The KEA stated that the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and mop-up round allotments were conducted simultaneously, during which a technical error occurred in the provisional mop-up round result released on October 16, 2024. As a result, the provisional result from that date has been revoked with immediate effect.

The option entry portal for Karnataka NEET UG mop-up round was opened on October 7th and closed on October 15, 2024. On October 9, 2024, the Karnataka government released the seat matrix, which included an additional 100 medical seats for Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bangalore. KEA mentioned that candidates who were allotted seats in the first and second rounds could enter options for KIMS if interested.

Hence, the mop-up round provisional result published on 16-10-2024 is withdrawn with immediate effect.”
