‘The Kerala Story’ star Adah Sharma found herself embroiled in controversy when she moved into the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s flat in Mumbai. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide, the house was unoccupied for four years. When the news of Adah moving in broke out, the actress faced backlash from the netizens. However, Adah didn’t pay much heed to the criticism. In a recent interview, the actress shared how she handled the situation.
Adah Sharma was very clear that she liked the flat and thus moved in. She isn’t bothered by anyone’s opinion as she feels there are too many things in life to concentrate on. “As an actor, or even as a person, you cannot react to everything that’s been said. We all have a lot of things to do in life. Also, this is a free country, and everyone has the right to have an opinion,” said Adah during her conversation with India Today
The actress also mentioned that she doesn’t need to explain her decision to anyone. So she continued, “If they feel about something, they should… and continue to do so. I am not here to tell anyone ‘I am a good person’ or give them reasons for my actions. I did what I had to do, and I know myself. And just like I don’t want anyone to change for me, I would also not change myself. I am really all settled in the house, and I really love the place.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Adah is not just a popular face in Bollywood. She has done movies down South as well in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. She was last seen in 'Bastar: The Naxal Story,' and next on her plate is 'Reeta Sanyal.' Its trailer was recently released and it will be available on Hotstar for streaming.
