Actress Sheetal Maulik, who will be next seen in the family drama Meri Bhavya Life. The actress known for her portrayal of Sonali Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, says the role she will be seen in is completely opposite to her real life personality and doesn't relate to it.
She said, "Relating to Priya as sheetal is impossible! As Priya is way different from what I am but as an actor I find it challenging to play something completely different from what I'm in my real life. Playing Priya seems to be an amazing experience as it’s very interesting also such roles keeps you growing as an actor. I always look to play that I don't relate with, it allows me to act and enjoy my craft."
As the show subjects the issue of body shaming, Sheetal shared her experience and continued, "Personally I hate people who body shame! I always experience Body weight fluctuation, at times I gain and I lost it again. This can be due to many reasons, body weight is always not because of over eating. Also I believe seeing a beautiful mind, that is more important and it lasts forever. Beauty is temporary most of the time. Saying that will also add that I appreciate efforts one put in to look a particular way a person wants and that’s completely a personal choice. Otherwise we as a society have no rights to defame or judge anyone. It’s completely fine if one is chubby or slim it’s important to be healthy and most importantly happy."
The actress who will be seen in the role of Priya Jaiswal, talking about her character, Sheetal shares, "I play Priya Jaiswal, the badi bahu of the Jaiswal family. Her husband lives abroad, so she has to juggle between family members to keep everyone happy and maintain her position in the family. The character has many shades, which the audience will get to see as the story unfolds."
Reflecting on her journey so far, Sheetal feels content with the projects she has been part of and is optimistic about the future. "I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had so far. I've had the chance to play diverse roles, and I'm happy with the growth I've experienced in my career. I'm looking forward to taking on new challenges and exploring different genres like web and movies," she concluded.
