Rebel Star Prabhas is currently working on his highly anticipated film, rumoured to be titled, 'Fauji', directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Joining the 'Salaar' star in this film are veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jayaprada, who play pivotal roles. Mithun recently shared his experience of working on the film.
Mithun shares his on-set experience
During an interaction on the YouTube channel Rupam's Review the 'Golmaal 3' actor revealed that while Prabhas is yet to join his scenes, he has already completed a schedule with Jayaprada. Mithun also praised Prabhas for his considerate nature, recounting how the star encouraged him to rest after he fractured his hand during the film's photoshoot.
A supportive gesture from Prabhas
Mithun Chakraborty said, "I returned, got it plastered, took painkillers and then completed the photoshoot. I then went to the hospital, as my surgery was scheduled for the next day. And they adjusted all these days. I felt extremely touched when Prabhas and the movie team told me not to worry, take proper rest."
The movie is set in 1945 during the British era and centers around Prabhas's character, a British Army soldier during a turbulent historical period. The story will include the themes of patriotism, love, and sacrifice while exploring connections to India’s freedom struggle.
The film introduces debutant actress Imanvi Ismail as the female lead, pairing up with Prabhas for the first time. She is known for her background in dance and is a social media influencer.
Upcoming films
Prabhas himself recently recovered from an ankle injury that delayed filming and has resumed work on the film. Alongside this project, he has several films lined up, including 'Spirit', 'The Raja Saab', 'Kannappa', and sequels like 'Salaar 2' and 'Kalki 2'.
