Sunny Deol has always kept his wife away from the limelight. Infact, that's something which also comes from his father Dharmendra, as Sunny's mother Prakash Kaur is also rare seen. Sunny got married to Pooja in 1984, just after the release of his debut film 'Betaab' in 1983. But the actor kept his marriage a secret for a long time. One hardly spots his wife with him and there are very rare pictures of her available on the internet.

Hence, fans were in for a treat when they got to see a rare glimpse of Pooja, in a picture shared by their son Karan Deol. He shared this picture and wrote, "Best time is time spent with your mom ❤️🤗"

Pooja looks gorgeous in a blue and white combination in this picture. Before this, Pooja was seen in pictures from Karan's wedding when the whole family had gotten together. In an old interview, Sunny Deol was asked about his wife and mom being away from the limelight. He opened up on it in 2013 to Deccan Chronicle and said, "Neither my mother nor my wife was forced to stay away from the limelight. My wife is her own person. She has always had the liberty to make her own decisions. To not make public appearances is her own call. Like I said, neither my father nor I have forced the women in our family to follow our rules."

On work front, post the massive success of 'Gadar 2', Sunny will be seen next in 'Lahore 1947' alongside Preity Zinta. He's also begun work on 'Border 2'.
