Jose Aldo announced his retirement for the second time after a unanimous defeat to Aiemann Zahabi at UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada. The striker, after attaining an MMA record of 32-10-0, decided to put down his gloves for good after retiring once previously in 2022 and then resorting to the world of boxing before finally making his way back to the UFC. Upon the fighter’s retirement, a former rival and the Irish fighter Conor McGregor reacted to the decision with a four-word statement on the social media platform Instagram.
