In a move that has shaken the streaming community, outspoken Twitch streamer and YouTuber Jayvontay "SoLLUMINATI" has been suspended for the second time in May 2025—just weeks after he returned to the platform with great fanfare. The latest suspension has unleashed a maelstrom of both criticism and support from fans and fellow creators, with AMP member Din "Agent 00" providing one of the most honest responses so far.
Return Turns Turbulent
SoLLUMINATI's Twitch return on May 1 was his first stream in more than five years. He was welcomed back by his long-standing fans and gained popularity again on the site instantly. Unfortunately, this was short-lived. Just two days later, on May 3, he was banned for purportedly saying a transphobic slur on a livestream. His initial ban lasted a few days, and although he was back on the site again, it wasn't long before his problems started up again.
Now, with his second ban in a matter of weeks, questions are surrounding both Twitch's moderation policies and the streamer's style of content creation.
Agent 00 Comments: "We All Seen It Coming"
Din “Agent 00,” a fellow streamer and member of the AMP content collective, did not mince words when discussing SoLLUMINATI’s suspension. Speaking in a recent stream, Agent described SoLLUMINATI as the “archetype” of a personality Twitch moderation tends to flag.
“That was going to happen, bro. It’s not even like... SoLLUMINATI is... What’s the best way to say this? He’s the kind of creator Twitch probably wouldn’t like,” Agent 00 said. “We all seen it coming.”
Agent's comments put a focus on the growing divide between free-wheeling, uncensored artists and sites that are contracting community standards in reaction to mounting pressure regarding hate speech and poisonous content on the internet.
Clash of Culture
The larger controversy underlines a persistent dynamic in the world of streaming—where services like Twitch are being squeezed to tighten their standards for moderation, and artists like SoLLUMINATI live off sweeping, frequently incendiary commentary. As Agent 00 puts it, this is probably only the beginning: "It will probably realistically keep happening. And I don't think it's right, but he's just like. very unfiltered, bro."
