“Man, why him?”: Mark Henry questions WWE after Braun Strowman's release

Just after the excitement of WrestleMania 41, WWE made a shocking decision. The company released 17 wrestlers from its roster, which surprised many fans. But the biggest surprise came to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, who was stunned by one particular name on that list, Braun Strowman .

Strowman is one of the most powerful and well-known wrestlers in recent WWE history. That is why many people, including Mark Henry, could not believe that he was let go right after such a big event. Even with all his strong performances, Braun was released, and fans are still trying to understand the reason behind it.


Mark Henry's reaction to the news of Braun Strowman's release
Mark Henry, who has been part of WWE for many years, spoke about the situation on Busted Open Radio. He said he did not understand why Braun was released, especially after how well he had been performing.

“To me, it was only one and that was Braun Strowman because Braun had been doing so well. Especially with all the stuff that he did leading up to WrestleMania with Jacob Fatu and even before Jacob Fatu, the work that he did with big boy Bronson Reed, like he shined.”

Henry was really impressed by the recent work of Braun in the ring. He added that sometimes talent alone is not enough to keep a job in WWE.

“Everybody that he tagged with, everything that he did, but you know what, man, it's not always about your talent or your performance. Sometimes your mouth, or sometimes you get in your own way, which I called and asked somebody, and I'm like 'Man why him? He was doing good.' Man, sometimes you know, people can be abrasive.”

Braun Strowman started his WWE career in 2015 as a member of The Wyatt Family. Standing at 6 feet 8 inches tall, he quickly became a huge star in WWE. He had many big matches and even won the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 by defeating Goldberg.

During his second run with WWE, he had many great matches. His last one was a Last Man Standing match against Jacob Fatu. This decision determined who would become the next challenger for the United States Championship at WrestleMania.





What Paul Heyman said about Braun Strowman
After WrestleMania, Paul Heyman also spoke about Braun Strowman during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show. Heyman revealed that Braun was upset about not being part of WrestleMania 41 and shared a very honest moment with him. “He was crying about not being on WrestleMania. And I told him, ‘You’re not on the card because you suck," Strowman said.

This shows that there may have been some backstage issues that led to Braun’s release, beyond just what fans saw on TV. However, the release of The Monster Among Men came as a big shock to many people in WWE, especially for Mark Henry.
