How did the Kansas City Royals lose to the Boston Red Sox?
The Royals struggled to score in their series against the Red Sox, managing just four runs in three games. Their offense faltered again Sunday, ending a seven-game winning streak.

Kansas City Royals’ manager Matt Quatraro said:

“They know how to pitch, Those are veteran guys with good stuff.”

Drew Waters, Kansas City Royals’ outfielder said:

“We did everything we could to get the runs in, We’ll look to do a better job tomorrow.”

Further, Quatraro said:

“Anytime you can put a run up early, you start to feel the momentum shift in your direction. But Boston has the ability to kind of kill the momentum. We’ve got to find a way to get the big hit when we need it, It’s not lack of effort. It’s not lack of preparation. Sometimes you don’t get those hits. But I think we’re in a good spot.”
