Even though the Boston Red Sox managed to make a solid win against the Kansas City Royals, their catcher Salvador Perez had a very special Mother’s Day on Sunday with his mom, Yilda Diaz on the field, that made the fans feel adorable about the two, especially on an auspicious day like Mother’s Day.

Perez, who has played 14 seasons with the Royals, looked proud and happy. After catching the pitch, he ran to hug his mom. Fans loved seeing the bond between them, as he is also one of the most loved players on the team, and this made the day even more special.
