Send Push
Bengaluru received heavy rainfall causing severe flooding in Manyata Tech Park . The major IT hub has been particularly hard-hit, with alarming scenes of submerged vehicles and waterlogged streets circulating on social media. One video captured a waterfall-like cascade of floodwaters pouring down a wall at the tech park. Another video shows vehicles struggling to navigate the flooded streets, highlighting the dangerous conditions for commuters.

As the photos and videos of the tech park ‘flooded’ the social media, users reacted with a mix of concern and sarcasm. While one dubbed the tech park “Manyata Tech Falls,” another said “Tech park turning to er park”.

Some people said that the tech park's location is on the banks of Nagawara Lake and is one of the contributing factors, urging authorities to address the city's inadequate flood management infrastructure.
