PUNE: A 23-year-old mechanical engineer employed with a reputed technology solutions company at Hinjewadi died after allegedly jumping off the seventh floor of his office building on Monday. The deceased was a native of Nashik.
"A handwritten note, not addressed to anyone specific, was recovered from the body. It read: 'I would have been a better son. You deserve a better son. I have failed in everything. Please do not waste your time on this. Take care'," senior inspector Balaji Pandhare, Hinjewadi Police, said.
Police said the engineer was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead there.
