NEW DELHI: A day after banning 16 YouTube channels of Pakistan, govt on Tuesday ordered blocking of the X account of Pakistan's defence minister Khawaja Asif for spreading misinformation about J&K and the Pahalgam attack. "@KhawajaMAsif has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand," the message on X read when accessing the account of the Pakistani minister.
Asif had claimed Monday that an attack on Pakistan is "imminent now" following the Pahalgam attack. He threatened the use of nuclear weapons by Pakistan "if there is a threat to our existence."
Govt had ordered the suspension of the Pakistani YouTube channels for spreading misinformation that targeted India.
