NEW DELHI: CISF officials on Wednesday arrested a passenger for carrying a bullet in his luggage at the Delhi airport . He was scheduled to board an Indigo flight to Mumbai but was removed from the plane.
The Central Industrial Security Force personnel stopped him during security checks at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport's terminal-III around 7 am.
The passenger was unable to provide any legitimate authorization for possessing the 5.56 mm calibre bullet, and was turned over to the Delhi Police.
